Gentle, Quick and Effective Treatments with Laser Dentistry

Laser dentistry has been used for a number of years, to treat a number of different dental problems. With advances in treatment, Bonita Prime Dental patients now have access to gentler, quicker treatments, with much shorter recovery times. In some cases, laser technology can even replace the traditional dental drill. At Bonita Prime Dental our dentists use lasers to treat tongue-ties, and can also remove excessive soft tissues along the gum lines, such as fibromas. Unlike a scalpel, a laser modifies the surface of the gum tissues and gently seals off the blood vessels and nerve endings.

Periodontal Therapy

Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure, or LANAP®, is the first FDA approved protocol to treat periodontitis. This non-invasive therapy is intended to work through regeneration, rather than resection. LANAP can prevent the need for a conventional flap with a periodontist. This procedure is performed in conjunction with deep cleaning, to destroy the bacteria that causes infections. You can expect your treatments to be split into two different appointments, with one half of the mouth being treated at the first visit, and the other half treated at your follow up visit. We are pleased to offer our Bonita Prime Dental patients this incision free, suture free treatment option.

No Cut. No Sew. No Fear Periodontal Therapy

Don’t delay your gorgeous smile!  If you have been procrastinating taking care of your dental health problems because of the fear of surgery, you will be pleasantly surprised when you visit with our Bonita Prime Dental specialists. Thanks to the progressive technology and laser treatments our experts are able to offer, we are helping more patients than ever achieve a healthier mouth.

Sedation Options

R

Nitrous Oxide

Also known as laughing gas, is administered through a soft nose mask. You’ll notice that your fears quickly float away, leaving you in a state of warm, serene comfort. Nitrous oxide gas allows you to have the dental treatment that you need, yet makes it seem as though time is passing quickly.

R

IV Sedation

IV sedation is the next level in sedation services, in which you can enjoy a twilight nap while your oral needs are taken care of. Rest assured that you’re in good hands, with a licensed anesthesiologist administering your medication and monitoring you at all times.

Please note that with oral and IV sedation, you’ll need to make prior arrangements for a friend or family member to take you home. However, no alternate plans need to be made with nitrous oxide gas. You’ll find the effects of sedation gas quickly dissipate within moments of completing your dental procedure.
